Here with Eljdini and Ryelle with news about Hope Town School Valentines day.
We would love to invite everyone to our Valentine day dance on Friday February 13 2015. We will have hotdogs and hamburgers for sale. If you come you will be helping grade 6 raise money for their Eluethera trip. Many people will be there to get down and it will be time to show your dance moves and have some fun.
We wanted to find out more about the track team so we interviewed Erik Julian Bell who is a member of
the school track team.
Here are the questions from our interview.
1. Why did you join the track team? “I like to run and I thought it would be fun.”
2. How many kids are on the team and what are their ages? “There are about 10 kids ages 7-12.”
3. What event are you training for? ” The team practices, long distance, sprints and middle distance, long jump and shot put.”
4. What does the uniform look like? ” It is a red shirt with blue letters.”
5. What does your training look like? ” I run 1-2 miles.”

Today I am writing about gymnastics. I heard gymnastics was amazing and the children learned a lot of
important skills. My older sister was teaching the children in gymnastics and she said she enjoyed it very much. She thinks they learned a lot while having fun. Sadly, not everyone was able to do their routine because they ran out of time. Hopefully, they will be able to do it next year.
